Best known as Serena William’s coach since 2012, PATRICK MOURATOGLOU is steadily becoming one of the major players in tennis. Mouratoglou is also a TV broadcaster and the head of one of the most renown tennis academies in Europe.

He got into the tennis coaching business with the legendary Australian coach Bob Brett. Since the late 90’s, he’s been instrumental in developing players like… Paul Henri Mathieu… Sergi Stakhovsky… Laura Robson… Marcos Baghdatis… & Grigor Dimitrov.

The Mouratoglou Academy has steadily become a destination for top caliber juniors and professionals. And during the clay court season, The Academy is a French refuge for the pros, allowing for them to both decompress and bone-up in preparation for Roland Garros.

One of his initiatives, Team Mouratoglou singles out rising stars for exclusive training. Thus far, Team Mouratoglou has included Coco Gauff, Jason Tseng, Alexei Popyrin, Rudolf Mollecker and Stefano Tsitsipas.

PATRICK MOURATOGLOU explains his approach to coaching and explains why he never uses a contract. He reveals which Frenchman he thinks has the best chance of winning the French Open. And he offers insight into what he thinks might be behind some of the latest coaching shake ups on the women’s tour.
