He won The French Open before he was old enough to drive. And over the following 7 years, MATS WILANDER won 7 Majors beating everyone from Vitas Gerulaitis to Ivan Lendl, Jimmy Connors to Jose Luis Clerc, and Boris Becker to John McEnroe. And if that wasn’t enough, his Swedish Davis Cup team won the cup three times.

Now he’s a commentator for Eurosport and runs the intensive tennis experience “Wilander on Wheels.”

In this episode, Hall of Famer and former world #1 MATS WILANDER tells us why hard courts open the field up even further on the ladies’ side. He explains why he thinks Roger Federer has a great chance to win the US Open this year. He shares 2 essential lessons he learned in Rome that brought him from being a junior to being a champion. And he tells us how a kid without a drivers license gets to Roland Garros in the middle of the night during an airline strike.
